Methodology
I began playing chess in 2021, during the Covid lockdowns, without the early start or natural talent many expect from strong players. I wasn’t a prodigy, just someone curious and determined to improve. I understand the challenges of learning chess alone, which is why I believe anyone can make real progress with the right mindset and guidance. Through consistent play and a genuine passion for the game, I improved through persistence. That experience shapes how I coach today: with empathy, structure, and a focus on keeping things both engaging and effective. At SharpSquare, I help students develop not just stronger chess skills, but sharper thinking — all while enjoying the process.
